The Desert Tiger Beetle is a competitor in Monster Bug Wars. It appeared in the Pilot Episode where it defeated a Desert Raspy Cricket. It then appeared in Death Everywhere where it defeated an Emperor King Dragonfly.defeat by desert scorpion. Then it appeared in sand ambush and got defeated by a antlion. It reappears in Bug War 2 where it gets defeated by a Giant Rainforest Mantis baby.

The Tiger Beetle is the fastest insect in the world, running across wide open areas after prey. It then rips its prey apart using its huge jaws made for ripping and tearing.
