Giant Jungle Stink Bug (Malodoropteracimex repulsa)

Diet: Smaller insects, snails, slugs, other insects, caterpillars and small vertebrates.
This large insect is commonly found wandering the forest floor or climbing among lower branches of trees in search of prey. When threatened by a predator, it secretes a noxious, bad smelling and bad tasting substance which is enough to deter most predators, except for large birds.
